3:00 PM EDT / 12:00 PM PDT - Duration: 90 minutes

Presented by Angel Pizarro & Lee Pang
Amazon Web Services Research and Technical Computing

How are you evolving your pipelines to meet the demands of new high-throughput instruments? In this session, we will review how AWS can help accelerate your analysis using a common genomics pipeline as an example.

This webinar focuses on tools, techniques, and best practices for developing and executing scientific workflows that leverage application containers and serverless cloud architectures. Listeners will learn best practices for packaging applications using Docker containers; submitting processes to AWS Batch; and encoding workflows using AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions. The webinar will demonstrate the flexibility and scalability of AWS with an end-to-end workflow for genomics data processing.
